With the mission to relieve hunger and reduce food waste, Food Angel is a food assistance program that rescues edible surplus food from different sectors of the food industry that would otherwise be disposed of as waste. Following strict safety protocols, the rescued food items will then be prepared as nutritious meals or food packs in central kitchens for distribution to serve the underprivileged communities in Hong Kong. To help create a sustainable future for Hong Kong, Food Angel is devoted to advocate the virtue of cherishing food and caring for the community through educational programmes.
