Thalassaemia major patients must rely on monthly blood transfusion and daily iron chelation treatment to sustain life. We aim to improve the quality of life of thalassaemia patients, to finance patients in curing the disease, to provide support in purchasing iron removal accessories, to arouse public awareness of thalassaemia disease and ultimately eradicate thalassaemia major in Hong Kong. We anticipate funding from the community members providing supports to our fund raising activities or co-organizing activities to raise funds in financing patients in different aspects.
