Mr. Raymond Lai is a registered social worker who was responsible for frontline work, supervision, organizational service strategic development and management in NGO before, including youth outreach, children and youth integrated service, residential child care service, elderly services, street sleepers service and community development service, etc. He is now the Business Director of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS). Raymond has participated in a number of advisory committees of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and is currently a member of Lump Sum Grant Steering Committee, Rehabilitation Advisory Committee, and Joint Committee on Information Technology for the Social Welfare Sector. He also serves as a member of Advisory Committee of the Department of Social Work of the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the current Vice-president of Hong Kong Social Workers Association.
