• Rethinking Talent Development in the New Era: Connecting Talents to the Future

Mr. Billie LAU is now the Assistant Director of The Boys' and Girls' Clubs Association of Hong Kong, who has been serving the young people, parents and seniors for more than 28 years. Mr. LAU served also as a Part-time Lecturer at CUHK. He is especially interested in the interaction between people and their context, with his practice and research covering from outreaching social work, youth arts, grassroot families, young parents, parent education, the Golden-aged, people with dementia and their carers, social enterprise to tele-health in the early years. Recently, he focuses on organizational development, strategies and management, as well as social innovation.  With a strong belief in teamwork and diversity, Mr. LAU keeps learning and exchanging with different disciplinaries, and aims to drive a more humanistic development in social service through practice, research as well as cross-disciplinary collaborations.
