• Role of Social Service on Primary Healthcare Engagement - Use of Social Capital Resources to Improve Health of Target Groups

Meyone obtained her Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy at The University of Hong Kong, during which she was particularly interested in investigating drug-related problems in Hong Kong. After her internship training in hospitals, she then proceeds to pursue her career in the community pharmacy and NGOs, focusing on how pharmacists could improve primary care in community by various services.  After her completion of Master of Clinical Pharmacy, she was interested in area of ambulatory care, she is now an assistant manageress and person-in-charge of A-Lively Community Pharmacy under Aberdeen Kai-fong Welfare Association Ltd.

A-Lively Community Pharmacy is operated in a non-profit business mode, with primary objective is to strengthen primary healthcare support in the neighborhood with the concept of integrating community-based pharmacy into social service. Thus, apart from providing affordable medications to the public, a wide range of pharmacist-led quality services with easy accessibility for the community are provided.
