• Role of Social Service on Primary Healthcare Engagement - Use of Social Capital Resources to Improve Health of Target Groups

Alice is currently the Chief Executive of Aberdeen Kai-fong Welfare Association (AKA), an integrated service organization striving for excellence and developing a sustainable society. As a Chief Executive, she has to manage the overall operation and performance of AKA Social, Education and Health Service in areas of administration, finance, information technology and service development.  With her far-sighted and pragmatic vision, Alice has adopted the public value framework to develop the first 10-year development blueprint for AKA, creating a shared value for a sustainable service development.  In 2020, AKA has included "Enhance Well-being to Promote Health for All" in its Mission and incorporated Health service as one of the key service pillars. To promote continual well-being and primary health care to the community, Alice has led the Agency to set up a Southern Community Pharmacy in 2021 and operate a Southern District Health Centre in 2022 which marks a significant milestone for the development of Health Service in AKA.
